The producer navigates two adjoining DOC regions—Cirò and Melissa—each with strict varietal and alcohol protocols. Cirò's red selections demand minimum 12.0% alcohol and rigid grape composition, while Melissa expands possibilities across white, red, and superiore designations at 12.5% minimum. This dual focus allows Don Peppe to express terroir variation across four and fourteen municipalities respectively, crafting wines bound by stringent regional regulation.
