Tenute Guardasole commands the volcanic soils of Grignasco in Novara, producing Gattinara and Ghemme from the ancient Nebbiolo grape locally called Spanna. The estate crafts austere reds with mineral precision—Gattinara demands 35 months of aging to achieve its 12.5% minimum alcohol, while Ghemme's blend of Spanna, Vespolina, and Uva Rara reaches maturity after 34 months in wood. Each bottle carries the rigor of Piedmont's northeastern terroir.
