Vigneti Costacurta

Vigneti Costacurta works the steep hillsides of Ghemme in Novara, producing Nebbiolo-based reds under two rigorous DOCG designations. The house crafts both Ghemme—a complex blend of Spanna, Vespolina, and Uva Rara that ages 34 months minimum—and the more demanding Gattinara, which requires 35 months and reaches 12.5% alcohol. These northern Piedmont wines demand time to reveal their structure and mineral depth, the result of exacting vineyard standards and long maturation in wood.
