In the steep Cuneo hills, the tiny hamlet of Neviglie, home to just 350 residents, leverages its sun-drenched clay soils to nurture 25 protected denominations. This micro-terroir is crucial for the highly localized Canelli DOC, a Moscato-based wine limited to just 17 municipalities, and the velvety Dolcetto d'Alba DOC. Neviglie's wine heritage is kept alive by 15 dedicated local producers, 7 of whom open their cellar doors to travelers.
